Factions are an essential part of your character's identity. Choosing a faction will radically change your play style and create alliances. Each Faction grants a few abilities and a talent tree associated with them. These abilities will be vital to master for combat and competition. Factions are politically motivated to expand their influence, and choosing one means you will be expected to help them achieve their ambitions.
In Galactic PVP Arena Mode , each Faction grants fewer but more direct abilities and passives.
At the direction of the Security Council of the Galactic Senate, the Velesian Faction monitors political instability within the Galaxy. It executes black-ops missions involving neutralizing insider threats to galactic peace and prosperity. From terrorism to federation treason, from threats posed by influential individuals to those of devious planetary alliances, the Velsesian Faction monitors all from within the shadow of the void.
The Velesian Faction will feature abilities and talents around stealth and disabling target enemies.
Members of the Velesian faction have difficulty accepting change and do everything they can to keep things as they are. They are the backbone of the Federation and believe there is no other way to govern. One voice and one vote for all that reside in the Velesian Faction.
The backstabbing and assassination ploys used by the Velesian faction have created a reputation; they should not be trusted. This is their fault, having employed tactics that scare even their closest allies. Stated no one wants to tell them the truth, and they live in a bubble or echo chamber. The leadership has started to act on impulse and take out what they deem a possible threat. Even what they deem a threat has become unclear.
The Velesian Faction is run by five high-ranking members who make choices based on minority and unanimous votes. The Velesian Faction works hand in hand with both the Gladiator Guild and Science and Research Guild to maintain their agenda and enforce their rules.
Gladiator Guild, Science and Research Guild
As the primary military faction of the Federation of Planets, the Tritan Faction is tasked with protecting the Galaxy from hostile threats. With legions of warships and some of the best armor and weapons technology in the Galaxy, the Tritan Faction commands respect throughout the Galaxy. Outposts in every sector ensure the Galactic Senate can call upon them to engage and deter any Xenomorphic threats or extragalactic invasion.
The Tritan Faction is not comfortable with the current state of things. The factions believe peace can only be maintained through rigid structure and enforced order. There is little point in allowing a voice to the people, especially if they are not part of the Tritan Faction.
They pursue their agenda by slowly encroaching on planets with ongoing revolts. They enter and enforce an order under their rule. While many see them as cruel and dictatorial, they do get results. Peace is enforced, and the faction takes over the planets.
The Triton Faction is the keeper of a terrible secret as well. Centuries ago, during a pest removal, the Galactic Guilds' special force, "Centurian Guard," captured a Machine God; the Triton faction ordered the creature captured, since then the Triton Faction has been silently infecting planets with weakened Xenomorphs then arriving as their saviors.
Guild of Influence, Gladiator Guild, and (reluctantly) Science and Research Guild to push forward their agenda.
The Kaishen Faction's sole mission is to pioneer in the harvesting, processing, and distribution of energy. Throughout the Galaxy, they apply their ingenious minds to create the most efficient energy grid in history. Kaishen Dyson rings, dark-energy harvesters, and black-hole accelerators distribute energy across the Federation of Planets. With unlimited energy nearly within their grasp, they are a shining beacon of hope among the factions. As energy has become the primary resource of the Galaxy, the Kaishen Faction is also tasked with the economic development that flows from their energy grid.
Despite the charitable nature of their mission, the Kaishen Faction seeks to not only dominate and rule but also seek to rule through an economic strangle on all life. Once they have established their power by owning everything, who can oppose them?
The Kaishen Faction used the Merchant Guild and Free to further their goal of conquest through uncompromising cruelty. They were throwing countless lives toward all corners of space to harness the energy of the cosmos.
The altruistic faction known as The Brotherhood holds great gatherings to recruit volunteers. While most of these individuals think they are volunteering to help bring energy and prosperity to remote systems, a large portion of these individuals submitted to the will of the Science and Technology Guild. They are exposed to vast energies, and how they react is recorded.
Most do not survive the experience. Some seem unaffected, while others change into monstrous creatures. The monsters live on a hidden planet, where they are studied and kept separate from the rest of the space civilization.
The ultimate goal of the Kaishen faction is to bring civilization under their perceived notion of order. While slowly rewriting reality into what they believe to be a paradise. Where all the needs are met, no one is left wanting, even if they have to destroy everything to achieve it.
Notice: The Kaishen Faction is the primary contributor of the Science and Technology Guild, pouring vast amounts of resources into all experiments.

The Solar Monks is a mysterious order stemming from an ancient religion, once followed by trillions, that dates back to the age of the Primordial Interstellar. Having refined astral techniques, they have cleansed the deepest parts of their conscious minds from the illusions of evolution-based psychology and ventured into otherworldly dimensions and ethereal realms. Empowered by trans-dimensional mind-machine interfaces, they wield formidable powers that enable them to transcend the laws of the universe for short periods and conjure beings and items from other dimensions. Despite consisting of a legendary order of spiritual warriors, they are unchanging in their political neutrality.
The Solarian Order is one of the oldest factions responsible for creating the technology behind the titan citadels. Their advanced technology is still scattered around the Galaxy, responsible for cross-species communication, teleportation, biotech enhancements, and the extremely long lifespan of any World member of the galactic senate. They heavily hand the galactic senate to approve all their latest scientific prototypes. Some get wildly out of hand, several times having consumed entire planets they were testing on.
Worshipers of the beings beyond the veil and followers of the Solarian Temples are places of terrific healing, and with powers of such magnitude, flocks from among the stars rush to services. While not close to the numbers they used to influence when performing miracles and, as a political faction, saw very little opposition.
Unfortunately, the higher members numbers have dwindled. As S &T Guild caught up with the Solarian Temples powers, the need for miracle workers and their message of worshiping creatures of another plane lost importance. The body modifications for communion with the other presence would frequently turn even the most devout worshiper, not because of the appearance. The fact that they needed to consent during every procedure terrified most Solarian Temple devotees.
The intention of the Temple members is noble, as they wish to create a health-inclined universe to serve their multiversal masters when they cross over so that the citizens of this universe bow down and understand that long lives and peace are thanks to these benevolent creatures. The members also seek to educate the populace by installing techno-organic technology to deliver information and knowledge.
The Solarian Order works closely with the Merchant Guild to establish themselves and raise temples in the most prominent spaces in the Galaxy. These structures range from the magnificent temples set dead center in a merchant quarter to the humble street stand on a neglected outpost.
Merchant Guild
The Jobukko Syndicate is a ruthless underworld faction behind most of the Galaxy's organized crime. They cooperate behind the scenes with almost every other Faction since their wares and services are very valuable. Despite a ubiquitous influence throughout the underworld, the Galactic Federation and the Galactic Senate seem not to mind cooperating with them on the visible spectrum. It seems working with criminals has been turned from an open secret to part of the politics of the Federation.
If anyone asks, the Jobukko syndicate is a shadow organization that does not exist. Its members swiftly quiet anyone mentioning the organization. The intention of this group of influence lies directly in slowing down progress to make as much money and provide influence as possible.
The Jobukko Syndicate membership is by invitation only and does so in secret. Members of the inner circle try to influence the other political leaders. They have no real agenda unless that agenda is to ensure they have power over others.
This group deals in secrets and blackmail to achieve its goals. Does a trade route need to be established? The Jobukko syndicate can help or make it difficult. It works hand in hand with the Breakers and the Gladiators. Those with real intel suspect that they are the real power behind the Influence Guild and may even have a possible alliance with the armed faction.
Merchant Guild, FreeFolk
The youngest and fastest growing faction, with thousands of residents from the furthest regions of space flocking to acquire membership. This rapidly growing political movement is swelling its ranks thanks to its message of eternal prosperity for all.
The leader of this faction is not followed like other political figures; they are seen more as religious figures and, individually blessed with power, "The Anointed One," who painfully sacrificed his vision in order to see the truth behind reality. The figure once said, "In darkness hides the through, and only in total darkness can we see its reflection.
The members of the Omnium collective are more than just followers; they are fanatics. Once they join the Collective, their lives revolve around that single identity, and they strive to become closer to the great leader.
The party is constantly gaining popularity since it conducts itself like a charity. It sees opportunity in invading planets filled with desperate populations that feel forgotten. There, it reaches out and provides free food, shelter, and medicine. The Faction works closely with the Breakers Guild, providing access to these desolate worlds and creating a potential market.
Once the faction has established itself, it starts spreading the word of the immense generosity of its leader. How the leader sees all and helps all even though he is blind. The faction promised the leader would come and visit if enough people believed in him and the word Omnium Collective.
Once membership has been established, it becomes a race to please the Leader. Members take food to other planets, steal medicine, and do everything in their power to improve their station to meet the leader of seeing the truth.
Once a believer had enough faith in the leader, he would take on his sacred ritual and blind themselves to be able to see the promised truth. Then and only then would the leader appear. And he would visit the faithful those in their dreams told them what must be done. Deads that would inspire the rest to see what they all see. They had been witness to the truth.
No member recovered their wits after the ritual; they are bound to the leader.
All members could now see the universe for what it was, cold, futile, unworthy of life.
Members of the faction would wrap yellow bands across their eyes to symbolize loyalty to the faction and the truth. They spread across the cosmos teaching, sharing their vision of a world equal for all, under the Leader's glory.
FreeFolk, Breakers Guild
Iridium Lotus members are peaceful and have decided not to use the standard weapon. They cannot attack directly. However, they have a particular type of device, called a Negator, allowing them to absorb damage and store it there. Releasing the energy at different times changes the interactive nature of the Negator, creating powerful beams with various effects. Overcharging them causes the device to explode, stunning and damaging the player.
The pacifist movement of the Iridium Lotus lives and dies by their belief. The faction is famous for the number of martyrs that stand in the way of violence, especially between factions. The members of the Iridium Lotus always seek to insert themselves in peace talks and are master treaty negotiators.
The most renowned members are easily recognizable as they are usually missing limbs and refuse any cybernetics as a replacement. These maimed individuals serve as a constant reminder that those that survive must suffer, yet those that are dead can rest. They inspire new members who see them as heroes willing to lay down their lives in battle while still not picking up a weapon and fighting back.
This faction holds the respect of all the other guilds across space. They are the faction that is called upon for help. All guilds hold this faction as an example of what can be accomplished by an individual's free will. The Iridium Lotus has members in all guilds, and although they understand that not all members can live the life of a pure pacifist, the higher-ups know the new ones are prone to mistakes.
There is a breakaway faction within the Iridium Lotus; these members are violent extremists. They embrace chaos and seek to sow distrust and death. While the main body disapproves, and some even disavow them from the faction, there is little done to remove them. There are even discussions among faction members that specific individuals are recruited for this breakaway faction and that they operate under the main body's supervision.
These fanatical extremists are greatly feared as they are known for their relentless assaults. They graft cybernetics and reprogram their cerebral CogniCode to feel no pain or fear. They retain all the abilities granted to them by the faction once they are accepted and use them as an offensive tool.
The Iridium Lotus works closely with all Guilds and all Factions and has the most inter-faction and inter-guild features and bonuses.
