🖲️BioNanites

Xenonite Cells or Bionanites are augmentations that players will use to add an extra flavor to their gameplay.

Bionanites are the resulting combination of symbiote cells, bio-engineered stem cells from xenomorphs, and nanite technology, micromachines that operate on shared intelligence. These are put inside the player's system and, as such, feed off but also give to their host.

Using a bionanite will cause it to merge with the player, and separating that symbiosis is painful and costly. Bionanites will increase in power the more the player completes certain quests and criteria with them. Separating weak bionanites from the player downgrades, however, a powerful one will always maintain its strength.

All bionanites grant effects with drawbacks, power always comes at a price. However, you can upgrade them to increase positive effects while decreasing negative ones.

Categories

Bio-nanites are divided into four categories such that each has unique effects. Purple bionanites are weapon-oriented and offensive, Ochra is spellcasting and mana-oriented, Ruby increases defensive capabilities, and Sapphire increases speed-oriented properties.

Bionanite Categories

Purple

• Sharp Split

  • Your weapon deals increased damage - Your weapon might jam (you become disarmed for a while).

• Closed Quarters Combat

  • You deal increased damage at close range and decreased damage at far range.

• Small Price

  • You deal more damage with your weapon - You lose HP every time you reload.

Ochra

• Stochastic Prism

  • You deal more damage with your Faction skills - They have a slight chance of not working.

• Overpowered Force

  • You deal more damage with your Faction skills - They also do minor damage to you.

• Improvisation

  • You can cast your spell off cooldown - Each time you do, its damage decreases for the rest of the fight.

Ruby

• Lump Removal

  • You take less damage - You move slower.

• DNA Injection

  • You have regeneration - You have less maximum HP.

• Weapon Boost

  • Gain HP each time you reload - Your magazine is smaller.

Sapphire

• Seastone

  • Increase the attack speed of your weapon - Your magazine is smaller.

• Tide Still

  • Cooldowns are times are shorter- Faction skills are less powerful.

• Current

  • Move faster - Have less control of your character (they slide slightly).
