Citizens are the characters that users play as in the Open World MMORPG, which are unique to their Planet NFTs and come in various Genetic Lines. Users will be able to level up and craft their characters all throughout gameplay.

Stats will affect everything about a player's game progression. Depending on which stats players choose to maximize will have different outcomes on gameplay. They will be altered by the player's choices, including Genetic Lines, Factions, Crafting & Enchanting, Bionanites, and Gear.
Prime Genes
Every ExoWorld Citizen belongs to one of 6 Prime Genetic Lines, each containing its own properties and abilities. Genetic lines significantly impact your character and abilities. Each Genetic Line will also feature different customization options, aesthetic and mechanical.
Choosing a Genetic Line will not limit your gameplay ability, but it will slightly alter how you will proceed to play inside the world. Passive Abilities are always active, whereas Active Abilities must be activated, and effects stop after a limited about of time, upon which the ability goes on cooldown.
The Marine Gene
Marine life forms are dominated by scaly and slick skin. They have evolved to be incredibly cautious, and quick.

Their very natures make them prime for hit-and-run tactics. Strike at the enemy, obtain distance, then hide, repeat.
The Marine Gene Perks for PVP:
Smooth and Slick (PASSIVE): Speed is naturally increased. Reduces the chance of melee attacks dealing total damage.
Cautious Nature (PASSIVE): Senses flair up when being targeted. The enemy appears on the minimap.
Fleet Floot (ACTIVE): Multiplies Smooth and Slick
Ink Spray (ACTIVE): Marine Lifeforms can spray a cloud of ink to blind, disorient and damage their enemies.
The Amphibious Gene
Amphibians are closely related to water and inhabit both land and seas. The Amphibious Gene's abilities center around blending in with their environment, resisting attacks, going unseen, and striking massive blows.
These creatures favor ambush tactics to lure in their enemy and devastate them with a powerful attack.
The Amphibious Gene Perks for PVP:
Slither (PASSIVE): Hitbox is slightly smaller
Reckless (PASSIVE): Slightly reduces damage.
Torrent (ACTIVE): A torrent of water is created below the player and pushes all enemy players back.
Chromataphor (ACTIVE): The creature mimics its surroundings, becoming invisible but not invulnerable.
The Primate Gene
The Primate Gene is all about team play. Coordinating attacks and defense with your allies will give you a heavy advantage over others.
Unaltered by any other DNA species, primates are enhanced merely by their blood and volition.
The Primate Gene Perks for PVP:
Boosted Ego (PASSIVE): Boosts surrounding Faction, Guild, or PVP Team members' damage and defense stats.
Boosted Morale (PASSIVE): Deal increased damage/healing if nearby allies.
Last Stand (ACTIVE): Cannot die for a few seconds.
Exponential (ACTIVE): Multiplies both Boosted Ego and Boosted Moral.
The Reptile Gene
Reptilians are fearsome in appearance, with many scales encompassing every inch of their body. The Reptile Gene focuses on combat and resource gathering. Their furious nature and overwhelming strength make them a force to be renowned.
The Reptile Gene has a more reckless or tank-ish approach.
The Reptile Gene Perks for PVP:
Locate (PASSIVE): 5% chance to receive double resource drop.
Shed (PASSIVE): Slowly regenerate HP.
Render (ACTIVE): All damage dealt increases by 20%
Scaleskin (ACTIVE): The next source of damage you receive is negated.
The Avian Gene
Avians are terrifying; their humanoid/birdlike appearance makes their unnatural presence disturbing. Avian Gene is situated around the player position, giving them more mobility. With mighty wings, thick plumage, and dangerous talons, avians value intelligence and mobility tactics while fighting.
Avian Gene is focused on player position. They give them more mobility while also granting bonuses if they use it properly.
The Avian Gene Perks for PVP:
Eagle's Eye (PASSIVE): Attacking someone from higher ground causes more damage.
Air Step (PASSIVE): Can double jump and can glide.
Take Flight (ACTIVE): Spread wings and gain flight for a few seconds.
Spirit of the Wind (ACTIVE): Speed increases by 50% and gains triple jump.
The Mecha Gene
Mechas' are very assertive presence empowered by their significantly altered bodies. A combination of machine and man. The Mecha Gene specializes in weapon-play and gear manipulation. The Mecha Gene specializes in dealing damage; it quickly adapts to a combat situation and can turn a tide with a few well-placed shots.

The Mecha Gene Perks for PVP:
Boosted Gear Level 1 (Passive): Choose 2 Gear slots (Aside from the Weapon Slot) to boost its stats by 15%.
Adaptive Ammo (Passive): Ammo collected on the battlefield can be used for any weapon.
Static Electricity (ACTIVE): Shoot a small zap laser that paralyzes the enemy for a few seconds or until they get hit. The laser zaps nearby enemy players as well.
Boosted Gear Level 2 (ACTIVE): all Gear slot stats boosted (Including Weapon Slot) by 100%.
