The Vanguard Line (VL) is a council where all CF members gather to vote on specific decisions passed by the CF.
Each 2-week period, the CF will enact a small ruling that will immediately be put into effect.
A small example list :
A minimal tax increase
Minimal tax decrease
Primary resource production is faster
Essential resource production is slower
Alliances have extra votes for the subsequent voting (the fewer votes they have =, the more they gain)
Alliances have fewer votes next voting (the more votes they have =, the more they lose)
However, some more complex decisions will be passed into voting, and players will be given a chance to vote on them, heavily impacting the game's flow.
Alliances can vote on these policies, depending on their plans. These decisions can heavily impact trade, warfare, or production. As such, Alliances will try to convince other Alliances to vote for or against those policies and can even bribe or threaten them.
Policies include :
Add more taxes on every trade
Decrease taxes on every trade
More policing for illegal trades
Ships traveling slower
Primary resource production is faster
More Bounty Hunts
Auction Houses are closed
A policy lasts for two weeks (if passed) until the next Vanguard Line meeting.
