Planets are the mothers of life across the cosmos, their spinning molten metal cores producing massive electromagnetic shields capable of allowing life to flourish in an atmosphere-rich environment. Eight planet types that encompass all planetary environments:
Planet Types
Volcanic Planets comprise 4% of all planets and include 4 different subtypes. Volcanic planets will see one of two types of magma and basalt rock: Red or Orange and Black or Grey, respectively. Volcanic planets are home to the most minerals.
Rocky planets comprise 16% of all planets and include 17 subtypes. They are planets covered in stony landscapes and mountainous regions, capable of both oceans and fertile land. Rocky planets can have fertile areas and even lakes and oceans.
Icy Planets comprise 15% of all planets and include 19 subtypes. Icy planets can feature frozen planets of different colors and frozen land masses with oceans, again of varying colors. Some will have larger masses of Ice, while others will have larger masses of water. Icy Planets feature many environments favoring the growth of various rare crystals.
Ocean Planets comprise 10% of all planets and include 14 subtypes. Ocean planets are almost entirely covered in water, with tiny islands scattered throughout. Ocean planets have intricate sub-surface features, from coral reefs to deep trench systems.
Island Planets comprise 9.5% of all planets and include 18 subtypes. Like ocean planets, island planets have a surface primarily covered in water. The difference is that the islands are much larger, visibly covering the surface.
Terran Planets comprise 26% of all planets and include 25 different subtypes. They largely resemble earth-like planets, with vast land masses and oceans but vastly different colors and textures. Terran planets have the most diverse biospheres.
Tropical Planets make up 8.5% of all planets and include 12 different subtypes. Tropical plants are notable for having a surface of over 80% forest/jungle land. These forests come in various colors, as well as rivers and oceans.
Desert Planets comprise 11% of all planets and include 13 subtypes. Desert planets come in various land makeups, including sandy deserts, rocky plains, and arctic deserts. You will find desert planets in a wide range of colors.
Utility
Gameplay
To play and participate in the ExoWorlds metaverse and keep all your earnings, you must own an ExoWorld. Owning a Planet NFT gives you full access to the game and that planet.
Renting Planets
Users who don't own a Planet NFT can play ExoWorlds. However, they will be planetary citizens, not owners. As such, they will pay a percentage of their gained cryptocurrency and game rewards to the owner of the planet on which they reside. Planet owners can effectively achieve passive income by making their planet desirable for new players.
